GLOVent is a young company with an entrepreneurial spirit. We value all relationships (including clients, partners, suppliers and employees), and despite having a profit motive, we aim to make a positive impact on all the lives our organisation touches.

The business started in 2006 when four entrepreneurs saw the need for more effective management and communication in residential estates. Through partnerships a CMS (Community Management System) was developed, now know as GLOPortal, with the first client (The Wilds) going live in January 2007.

We are proud that after 10 years The Wilds is still a client using our now much enhanced GLOPortal CMS as well as other value added products and services. More than 650 other communities (residential and other) have also since joined the GLOVent family, now enhancing the lives of more than 90,000 members, throughout South Africa and internationally.

GLOVent’s focus is to deliver exceptional value to communities through innovative solutions.

Communities include any group of individuals with a common purpose, managed by a central body. These are for example schools, churches, sport clubs, residential groups (estates, complexes, gated areas) and many more. Although multiple communities are currently using GLOVent’s solutions, the main focus is currently on Residential Communities (estates and sectional title schemes).

GLOVent’s product range has expanded from the initial GLOPortal CMS only. Our aim is to develop a range of products and services that ultimately enhances the lives of our communities’ members. Coming from an engineering and software development background, technology and innovation forms the basis of our product and solution development.

Offering exceptional support on our products and services. Exceptional and personal service and support to clients are at the core of all the solutions offered to our clients.

Forming mutual beneficial relationships with partners. We do not believe in ‘re-inventing the wheel’ and therefore choose to partner with the best-in-class when developing new products and services for clients.

Constant improvement of our products and services. We have developers constantly working on improving our solutions to ensure our products continue to meet the needs of our clients in the most effective and efficient manners.

Offering fair-valued products and services. We believe in offering fair-valued solutions that results in long-term relationships with many clients.

With a client-base of more than 650 communities, of which most are high-end residential communities (residential estates), GLOVent has a direct communication and product/service delivery channel to 90,000+ hyper-localised, high net-worth individuals.

Residential Communities using the GLOVent GLOPortal CMS include leading estates in South Africa and Mauritius, like Fancourt; Thesen Islands; Pinnacle Point; Leopard Creek; White River Country Estate; De Zalze, Eagle Canyon; Fourways Gardens; Dainfern Valley; Silver Lakes; Mooikloof; Woodhill; Cornwall Hill; Pecanwood; Brettenwood; Princes Grant; Tamarina and many more.

GLOVent’s’ client base is currently growing with, on average, 5 new communities per month. This results in 3,000 new high-end, hyper-localised members becoming part of the GLOVent member base, each month.

GLOVent’s direct channel through its products and services to the large member base places the company in a leading position to offer a range of value added products and services to its members and their management committees.

GLOVent is a subsidiary of Digitata South Africa (Pty) Ltd.

Formed in 2008, Digitata is a privately-held multinational technology company with a strong mobile telecommunications and revenue management background.

Digitata provides solutions for mobile operators that enable them to achieve sustainable customer growth and profitable revenue generation in competitive environments, while enhancing the value of the mobile experience for their customers. www.digitata.com

The balance of the shares are held by founding entrepreneurs who are still part of the GLOVent management team.

Adriaan (Chief Executive Officer) and Richard (Chief Technical Officer ) are executive board members, involved in the day to day management of the company. The balance of the board (Tinus, Gareth and Ted) represents the majority shareholder – Digitata.

GLOVent’s first client (The Wilds, a residential estate in Pretoria East) went live on our GLOPortal CMS in January 2007.

We are proud that after 10 years, The Wilds is still a client using our now much enhanced GLOPortal CMS as well as other value added products and services. More than 650 other communities (residential and other) have also since joined the GLOVent family, now enhancing the lives of more than 130,000 members, throughout South Africa and internationally.

GLOVent’s clients consists mostly of residential communities (estates and sectional title complexes). Other communities (golf clubs, office parks, schools and other) forms about 10% of our client base, with the rest being residential communities. Most of our solutions can easily be applied in other communities, but our short-term focus is on residential.

GLOVent’s’ client base is currently growing with, on average, 5 new communities per month. This results in, on average, 3,000 new members becoming part of the GLOVent client base, each month.
